South African Polypropylene Yarns (Pty ) Limited (SAPY) was jointly established in 1995 (by PFE International and Ninian & Lester Holdings Limited, a company which has operated in the clothing and textile sector in South Africa since 1936) in order to produce a range of multifilament polypropylene yarns and fibres

It has been manufacturing masterbatch for internal use for the past eight years.

Demand from customers to supply fibre and plastic masterbatch led to the establishment recently of SAPY Colours.
The company boasts new state of the art equipment and technology to meet the stringent demands of the modern plastics environment. Raw materials used in the masterbatches are sourced from reputable European manufacturers.
